Over the last couple of months we have started delivering carbon monoxide awareness training to frontline staff in Bradford, thanks to funding from Northern Gas Networks Community Promises Fund.

Over 80 members of staff have been trained up to date across the following 4 organisations:

  •    Airedale and Wharfedale Children's Centre Cluster
  •    Keighley Children's Centre Cluster
  •    Waddiloves Health Centre - Learning Disability Community Nursing Team
  •    West Bradford Children's Centre Cluster

These are just the types of organisations who we are trying to reach with the training - all support vulnerable households on a day-to-day basis, often in the home where it is possible to effectively cascade information on the risks of carbon monoxide to residents.

So far all of the attendees have said that they would recommend the training to colleagues or other organisations and have scored the session an average of 4.7 out of 5.0 We look forward to talking to more members of frontline staff in the next few months.

Get in touch if you work in Bradford and would like to organise a session for your team.
