Problems around energy bills are not going away. Prices have gone back up again this year since the conflict in the Middle East started and remain over £700 per year more expensive than back in 2019. At the same time, debt is at a record high with £4.4 billion owed to energy suppliers.
Yorkshire Energy Doctor offers independent advice and advocacy to households around energy bills, energy efficiency and ways to stay safe, warm and well.
We know the importance of one-to-one personalised advice and support that takes into account your own circumstances or issues.
Our USP? We are a very small local organisation, there are no call centres so you will always have direct access to one of our team, and we have over a decade of experience of supporting households with all kinds of energy issues.
How does it all work?
How much does it cost?
We are grant funded which means we receive funding that covers our costs. As such, there is no charge to anyone requesting advice.
What area do we cover?
Most of our advice is done remotely and we can support anyone in North or East Yorkshire over the phone or by email. Depending on need, we can also provide face-to-face advice through home visits in and around the old Selby District and East Riding areas.
